Paul H. from MI  Quote: "I used to shop prices but over the years I have found out you pay a little more for quality and Slough Creek Outfitters is a good example of an outfit that puts the special touch of PROFESSIONALISM in the quality of their operation."

Jake R. from FL Quote: " I never dreamed I would be able to stay in such a nice camp in the wilderness and have fishing like this with-in 25 yards of my tent."

Polly P. from CA  Quote: " My husband I couldn't have dreamed of a better trip together, I was hesitant at first on going on a trip like this, but Slough Creek Outfitters crew were so helpful, that I overcame my fear of horses and we had a wonderful time. I almost didn't go, but now I know I would have missed a wonderful time that I will always cherish."

You will enjoy our first class camp. It is nestled on the banks of Slough Creek. Trophy fly fishing and bull elk hunting are basically available out your front door. You are  in the heart of big bull elk country. We are one mile from the Yellowstone National Park boundary. We are the only permitted base camp on Slough Creek. The dates for fly fishing start at the end of July and run through the first week of September. The early season elk hunts start Sept. 13th and run through Oct.14th. The opening day is Sept. 15th. We run 7-day hunts back to back.

Camp accommodations consist of spacious canvas wall tents.  Your sleeping tent is equipped with cots, foam rubber, wood stoves and even carpet on the floor. A shower house, (solar bag) is also available for your convenience. Home cooked delicious meals are served daily in our dining tent with nice table and chairs. A camp tender is on duty, too.

This is a camp and crew that you can feel comfortable bringing your wife and family to, even your mother and better yet your mother-in-law!

Even for the ones that are going on their first time horseback riding experience, will feel at ease with our gentle horses and mules. Call us on the ages of your group.
